Terms of Service

CVRepo is a talent repository: candidates build one structured professional profile, and verified employers search for and contact them. CVRepo is not a recruitment agency and does not employ candidates, guarantee interviews, offers, or hires, or act as a party to any employment relationship formed through the platform.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. One account per person or organisation.

• Candidates: you confirm the qualifications, experience, and credentials on your profile are truthful.
• Employers: you confirm you are authorised to act for the organisation you register, and that its registration details (including RC number) are genuine.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use CVRepo.

Employer accounts are reviewed before gaining access to candidate search. Verification is a good-faith check of registration details, not an endorsement or guarantee of any employer's conduct. Candidate verification badges reflect checks performed at a point in time and may be withdrawn if information proves inaccurate.

Candidate activation plans are one-time payments processed by Paystack. Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira at checkout. Payments unlock platform features (such as profile visibility and resume downloads) and are non-refundable once the feature has been activated, except where required by law.

You agree not to:

• misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or organisation;
• scrape, bulk-export, or resell candidate data;
• contact candidates for purposes unrelated to genuine employment opportunities;
• upload unlawful content or attempt to compromise the platform's security.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

You own the content you add to your profile. You grant CVRepo a licence to store, display, and share it according to your visibility settings — candidates control whether their profile appears in search and whether contact details are shown.

CVRepo is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of candidates or employers who connect through the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.

We may update these terms as the platform evolves; material changes will be announced in-app or by email, and the date above always reflects the current version. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
